SPECIAL FEATURE
The ergonomic way to handle Electron Collimators without lifting
_________________
The EcoLog system features carts specially designed for storage and
application of the collimators as well as for storage of custom made inserts and related accessories.
By avoiding a human lifting operation, a potential cause of injury to staff (and consequences) is avoided.
The EcoLog system is quick, simple and easy to use.
System for Varian and Siemens linacs |
System for Elekta linacs:: |
One cart is typically required per linac. The electron collimator is slid from the accessory tray into the tray at the top of the cart. All movements of the collimator are thus horizontal, requiring little effort and no lifting is required. |
Each size of the heavier collimators typically has its own Ecolog cart. The electron collimator is located on a lever controlled mechanism1
at the top of the cart. |
